We love all the compliments on our shelf life (please keep them coming), but our data-driven R&D team wanted to conduct a fun shelf life experiment to see how we stack up against imported produce at the store.

So . . .

  • Over the course of a month (34 days to be exact),

  • R&D compared Growcer-grown Green Star lettuce

  • and store-bought green leaf lettuce.

  • The lettuces were stored the same,

  • packaged the same,

  • and photographed at the same time.

The result? Well you can see for yourself ⬇️

While you probably won't wait a month before digging into your groceries, your Growcer-grown produce gives you 2 weeks of time to think of a perfect recipe before any wilting starts. The longer shelf life is one of the benefits of local, hydroponically grown lettuce.
