To the Freight Farms Community
A letter from our CEO - Updated July 9
Today, I am pleased to announce that Growcer was successful in acquiring substantially all Freight Farms’ assets.
Since Freight Farms’ bankruptcy announcement, we’ve stepped in to help Freight Farms’ community of growers where we can. One of the options we pursued was putting together a bid for Freight Farms’ assets, which include substantially everything from software, an inventory of spare parts and completed Greenery farms, intellectual property, manufacturing blueprints, and the support knowledge base, among others.
The process of purchasing these assets through the court is pending customary closing conditions. More details will be available after the transaction is completed, which is expected by the end of July 2025.
We’ll share more in the coming weeks about how we’re going to support you in this next chapter. We’ve been very fortunate to have the opportunity to collaborate with many Freight Farmers and ex-Freight Farms team members since the news first broke. This transaction will put us in an even better position to provide continuity wherever possible. Our primary goal throughout all of this is to keep your farm running and your work moving forward.
In the meantime, you can scroll through this community support page for existing resources.
If you have any additional questions, feel free to get in touch with our team. We’re here to help you keep growing — without rushing your decisions, without pressure, and with long-term support you can count on.
Whether you need help troubleshooting today, want to explore a path forward, or simply don’t want to feel alone in this moment — we’re here.
