Operations Associate

As the Operations Associate you will work on a variety of detail orientated and time sensitive projects involving both administrative and customer service tasks. A successful Operations Associate should expect to lead the development of a streamlined logistics plan and planning of future projects. This is a full time position with a lot of room for growth as The Growcer continues to expand.


What You’ll Do

  •  Assist the operations team in planning, implementing and sustaining Growcer projects across our network of customers
  • Develop logistics plan specialized to various customer markets
  • Connect with customer to understand their needs and develop a plan to ensure those needs are met
  •  Provide administrative and logistical assistance for our operations including:

- Responding to internal and external meeting requests

- Coordinating logistics, travel, and scheduling for meetings while traveling

- Support the team in production of high-quality, high-impact materials for internal and external presentations

What You Have  

  • Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage several tasks and projects at once in a fast-pace, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work both independently and in teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on quality control
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills with a strong customer service orientation
  • Good judgment and sense of personal responsibility, exceptional maturity, professionalism, and ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality
  •  Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or propensity to learn new systems quickly
  • English proficiency

Bonus Points

  • Currently studying or a recent graduate of a Collegial or University program in commerce-related field
  • Operations and/or logistics work experience considered
  • Passionate about food security and sustainability
  • Communication skills in French and/or Indigenous languages
